Copyright & Licensing
Effective August 9, 2026
© 2026 Alexey Fedorov. All rights reserved. Every photograph, every frame of video, every word, every line of code, and the design of this site are original works owned by Alexey Fedorov and protected under United States copyright law and international copyright treaties.
1. What This Covers
This notice applies to all content published at post.alexey-fedorov.com (and any subdomains). That includes, without limitation:
- photographs and portraiture, whether shot by me or commissioned by me
- video, film, reels, and any still frame extracted from them
- written text, captions, articles, and journal entries
- the source code, markup, and styling of this website
- the visual design of this site — layout, typography, color system, and composition — as an original work of authorship
- my name and personal brand as used in commerce
- the website's structure, navigation, and user interface elements
2. No Implied License
Publicly viewable is not the same as free to use. Nothing on this site, and no act of publishing it, grants you any license, right, or permission to copy, reuse, adapt, or exploit any of it. Any right not expressly granted in Section 5 is reserved.
3. Expressly Prohibited
Without my prior written permission, you may not:
- reproduce, republish, mirror, or redistribute any photograph, video, or text, including on repost, fan, aggregator, or "archive" accounts
- use any content for commercial purposes — advertising, promotion, packaging, merchandise, print sales, editorial licensing, or resale
- create derivative works, including edits, retouches, recuts, remixes, filters, upscales, or composites
- crop, alter, overlay, or otherwise modify any image in a way that removes, obscures, or falsifies credit, watermarking, metadata, or copyright management information
- use any content to imply my endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with any person, product, brand, or organization
- scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or systematically archive this site or its media outside of the search-engine allowances described in Section 4
- sell, license, or sublicense any content, or offer it as stock, dataset, or template material
4. Typography Credits and Attribution
The visual design of this site, including its typography, includes third-party contributions:
- Anthropic Serif and Anthropic Sans are used under license and are copyrighted by Anthropic. These fonts are used with permission and are not owned by Alexey Fedorov.
- The specific design and layout decisions that incorporate these fonts, including sizing, spacing, and color choices, remain original works owned by Alexey Fedorov.
When using or referencing the website's design elements, you must acknowledge both Alexey Fedorov as the site owner and credit the font providers when appropriate.
5. What You May Do
I would rather my work travel than sit locked in a vault, so the following is permitted without asking:
- Native social sharing. Share, repost, reshare, or duet content using a platform's own built-in sharing feature, where my authorship and the link back to the original remain intact.
- Editorial and press use. Journalists, editors, and publications may reproduce images or excerpts in editorial coverage with a visible credit to Alexey Fedorov and, online, a link to post.alexey-fedorov.com. This does not extend to advertorial or sponsored content.
- Linking. Link to any page on this site freely. No permission is needed, and none is required for ordinary hyperlinking.
- Personal, non-commercial viewing. View pages, and let your browser cache them, for your own personal use.
- Typography studies and design documentation. Researchers and designers may analyze the website's design choices, including font usage, for academic or professional purposes provided they give proper attribution.
6. Third-Party Rights
Some photographs on this site were created in collaboration with photographers, videographers, and creative teams who may hold rights in their own contributions. Brand names, logos, event names, and platform marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners and appear here nominatively. Content shown through embedded posts remains subject to the terms of the platform it is hosted on. Nothing in this notice claims rights I do not hold.
The Anthropic fonts are used under license and remain the copyrighted property of Anthropic Inc.
7. Reporting Infringement
If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or control, contact me at [redacted] with the subject line "Copyright Claim" and include:
- identification of the work you claim has been infringed
- the exact URL of the material you are asking to have removed
- your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- your physical or electronic signature
Complete notices are reviewed promptly and material is removed where a claim is substantiated. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.
8. Enforcement
I monitor for unauthorized use of my work and I act on it. Where content is used without permission, I pursue takedown notices with the hosting platform, search engine, or provider; report infringing accounts to the platforms they operate on; and reserve every remedy available at law and in equity, including injunctive relief, actual damages, disgorgement of profits, statutory damages, and attorney fees where recoverable. Removing a watermark, credit, or copyright metadata is a separate violation and is treated as one. Failure to act on any single infringement is not a waiver of any right.
9. Licensing & Permissions
If you want to use something, ask — most reasonable requests get a yes. Email [redacted] with the subject line "Licensing Request" and describe the specific asset, where it will appear, for how long, and in what territory. Permission is only granted in writing and only for the scope stated in that writing.
For the licensed use of Anthropic Serif and Anthropic Sans, please contact Anthropic directly at [appropriate contact information would go here].
